Does Collecting Video Game Variants Matter?
Game collecting is like any collecting hobby out there. You seek out games that you want to have and some are expensive and the others are cheap. The cool thing about collecting video games is that you can play with your collection so there are a lot of people who just collect to play. It's more like building a library to them.
But when collecting really separates from library building is variants. Changes in manufacturing ranging from system variants to minute misprints on the last page of a manual.
Do they really matter in terms of price? Or are they just a silly thing collectors use as an excuse to determine rarity?
