In this week's episode I talk about how linearity effects games. Is linearity a thing of the past or does it allow for unique oppurtunities of gaming experiences. it's the second one but I ended up talking about it for ten minutes. Metroid Fusion is a really unique game that uses linearity to its fullest advantage by introducing things like the SA-X to make the player feel restricted. Linear games will always have a place in the gaming landscape but if a game is to be linear they should follow Metroid Fusion's example by taking linearity to the next level.
