Does Minecraft work on Oculus Quest?
Answer: YES! (as of 2019-12-08)
Full Question: Does Minecraft (Vivecraft v1.14.4) still work on Quest Quest with Virtual Desktop (SideQuest version) and SteamVR?
Note: Ignore the audio delay; there is none in game - it's just a trait of recording straight on the Quest.
Also, this method has full 6-degrees of freedom tracking in a wireless manner (which is EPIC!), but does require a copy of Virtual Desktop (£10.99 GBP / $14.99 USD) to work.

How to get it working:
In this video, all I did was use Virtual Desktop on the Quest (SideQuest version) to connect to my PC and launched Vivecraft v1.14.4 from the desktop (it auto launches SteamVR companion). Worked right off the bat.

To test it out, we have a public, multiplayer Vivecraft server. Feel free to join, build, etc.:
