While I have no plans at present to actually play Rift, as I'm too tied up with World of Warcraft, I decided to have a little fun with the Soul Tree Calculator I found at http://rift.zam.com/en/stc.html and see if I could put together a rogue or cleric tanking build. (Warriors have a ton of tank options and mages can't tank period, at least at the time of this video.)

What I have to say about Rift in general is this: the talent system seems very well-constructed and allows for a ton of flexibility, but it's too daunting to recommend to most gamers. Beyond that, I have about no experience but I WILL watch Rift boss/dungeon videos just in case someone at the Blizzard offices decides to reference Rift fights when designing a WoW raid boss.
