Does this Design Work? Episode 1: Fate/Stay Night Visual Novel
57This is the first episode of a new series me and my friend Brett are working on. In this series we plan to look and commentate on character designs from both video games and animated features. In this particular episode we are looking designs from the visual novel known as Fate Stay Night.
For those who don't know, Fate Stay Night is a battle royale story in which mages compete for the Holy Grail by summoning familiars called servants. Servants are manifestations of various historical and mythological figures who are given powers based on their backround. The servant characters are what make these character designs Interesting because on one hand you have a group of normal human characters and on the other hand you have the artist's interpretation of various historical and mythological figures.
