Dogma was a very nice looking old doujin fighter back around 2002 or so that was based on "Kanon" and had all the makings of a quality doujin fighter; it even used its own engine and not the FM95/FM2K engine, but for whatever reasons, it was never completed, though it was a fair bit into development (I suspect pressure from Twilight Frontier's 2001 "Eternal Fighter Zero" game which also had Kanon characters amongst many others had a little to do with it).

While it featured only one stage and stage BGM, it featured about a dozen playable characters with (what appear to be) original sprites and some original animations, several configurations, a training mode, and a somewhat different fighting engine where there are two gauges: one acts as a barrier of sorts (Pain Threshold) and the other is your normal life gauge. Different attacks deal damage to these two gauges differently and the Pain Gauge can recharge over time (and is generally more fragile than your life gauge, as it reduces damage dealt to your life gauge). As a result, fights aren't won solely by landing more blows and a lot of reversals can be made. Characters lose more health from attacks as the Stigma gauges fill and characters can get a "Cage Crush" if they block too many hits (an opening in their defense).

Characters have a good deal of special attacks, upgradable special attacks, and super attacks, and the game moves at a fast pace.
