Hey, on time this week! Yay. Still having recording issues, but I think it’s more in my head than not at that point. Well… I hope. Feel free to let me know if anything sounds off.

Anyway, “Redo!” Pleasantly surprised by this game. Was in my backlog for a while, and finally got around to playing it. Definitely liked it. Nails a nice sweetspot between horror and melancholy for me. Plus I always enjoy a good Metroidvania.

Took some adjusting at points, the jump timing, for one (“pro” tip, roll instead where you can.) And honestly, I was kinda annoyed at first that there was lore locked behind a second playthrough, assuming it was just a hard mode. But was happy to find that NG+ changes enough that it felt fresh, even starting immediately after the first playthrough.

I’d like to say more, but I think the rest is best discovered for yourself. Ironically, the NG+ is the non-spoiler stuff I can talk about with this game. Funny that.
