Hopefully the resizing for the Short format didn’t make it too hard to see. Especially the drop-shadow, as that’s kinda hard to see to begin with.

Well, too late to worry about that now, I suppose.

But yeah, Cross Code. Very interesting game, in a lot of ways. Haven’t beaten it yet, so there’s a lot I don’t think I’ve seen enough of to really talk about yet, but definitely interested to see where it goes.

Always liked platforming puzzles, though, so wanted to talk a bit about how they’re done here. Also happy to see another game with a Zelda-style auto-jump. Maybe it’s just my love of the series, but that mechanic always makes me happy.

Anyway, got a big video coming up soon-ish. I hope. Editing it has been a nightmare, so we’ll see how the rest goes, but hopefully it’ll be at least “watchable.”

I certainly have newfound respect for people who do them regularly.
