Donkey Kong Country Intro [Recording Test]
0[UPDATE: For whatever reason, I can't get SNES9x to record in 448p anymore. It only records up to 240p and when upscaled in Vegas, it looks terrible. Add that to the humongous file sizes these recordings have, and I think it's safe to say I won't be using this method to record Super Nintendo games.]
So the emulator SNES9x has a built-in recording function like Kega Fusion and Visual Boy Advance. I recorded this intro using the Microsoft Video 1 codec. I might be able to record SNES playthroughs using this function but I'll need a much better computer to do it, as it lags when I record using the one I did this on. One thing to note is I ran this through Sony Vegas because the recorder captures at a weird resolution (448p) and YouTube accepts that as 360p. So I upscaled it a bit to 480p in Vegas.
