Sonic 2 Title Screen [1080p Upscale Test]
1,521This is a test of how Sony Vegas Movie Studio upscales video. The version I used for this is HD Platinum 11. The original video was captured in Kega Fusion (which records in 640x480) and upscaled to 1440x1080. The original recording's bitrate was 75139kbps, which this video was also rendered in. A video rendered as an .mp4 would've looked sharper, however my version of Vegas won't allow me to render .mp4 videos at the same bitrate as the original recording. Both the original recording and this render were 60 frames per second.
This is not to say that we'll be upscaling our videos like this (at such a resolution, bitrate, and framerate, it would take up a lot of hard drive space,) I was just wondering how this would look like on YouTube.
