2It's probably a coincidence, but it sometimes really feels like the letter 'O' is hidden in trickier locations than the other Kong letters. Sometimes even up to a point where it's better hidden than Bonus Barrels or Hero Coins 🤣. Finding that letter is the true completion for any stage, although the Kong letters are still not officially required to 100% the game. It should have been 😛.
Donkey Kong Land 2 is the followup on the first DKL game on the Game Boy. And like the first game did, this game brings the wonderful Donkey Kong Country formula to the handheld system. But this time around they didn't bother creating an entirely new game. This time they basically tried to remake the game this game is based on. Donkey Kong Country 2's world map, level names and even level gimmicks were brought over and remade into 8-Bit Game Boy stages. Because of all levels being remade to fit the Game Boy's standards, they are definitely not the same as in the original so this game still feels like a new game.
