I think it's pretty interesting how the Castle area is the only optional area and yet it houses some of the trickier treasures. Requiring not only certain abilities but also forcing you to make use that ability as a Helper instead of using it yourself, or bringing two abilities (one Helper and one you carry yourself) because of them being required right after each other. And for some reason we see the game making use of underwater mechanics a lot to achieve this 😅.

Kirby Super Star is the game that reinvented the traditional platforming formula for Kirby. By separating the game into smaller games instead of traditional level progression, the game takes us through multiple little stories that fit together by nothing more than the gameplay. The game is also known for it's helper system, expanded Copy Abilities move sets, amazing sound track and awesome atmosphere. Each 'game' being a different experience and becoming progressively harder and longer, this game might be the best Kirby game ever made.
