It's pretty interesting how they decided to make the Lost World one complete world this time around. No one stage per world, but everything in one go just like a 'regular' world. It truly feels like an extra world now. And it feels even more extra because the final boss needs to be defeated first since you need ALL of the Kremcoins in this game to even access it. And Captain K. Rool happens to hold the final one. πŸ˜…

Donkey Kong Land 2 is the followup on the first DKL game on the Game Boy. And like the first game did, this game brings the wonderful Donkey Kong Country formula to the handheld system. But this time around they didn't bother creating an entirely new game. This time they basically tried to remake the game this game is based on. Donkey Kong Country 2's world map, level names and even level gimmicks were brought over and remade into 8-Bit Game Boy stages. Because of all levels being remade to fit the Game Boy's standards, they are definitely not the same as in the original so this game still feels like a new game.
