This is my Donkey Kong Land III speed run in 34 minutes 51 seconds, as timed from file select to collecting the Bonus Coin in the K.Rool fight. This was done on the Japanese colour version on the Gambatte emulator.

Well, for someone who doesn't speedrun any more, pumping this out in a couple of weeks isn't so bad. ;) This run is not only deathless, it beats the old TAS of the game from 2008! That TAS had a lot of problems, but it's still a fairly significant milestone.

I'd have liked the run to be hitless as well (except the three intentional ones: two on bosses, one to skip Ellie in Footloose Falls), but we can't have it all. At least I didn't get lost anywhere or take a fall in either Footloose Falls or Rickety Rapids, like so many of my previous attempts did...

I'll be doing 103% runs next - watch this space!
