For the original NES release of Donkey Kong, the 50mm stage was left out, so you go straight to the 75mm level instead. This level is also known as Elevators, and it was also used as a stage for Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This is another iconic stage in gaming. This time around, the only enemies are a couple of Fireballs. However, you must jump across moving elevators to reach the other side of the screen, and Donkey Kong now throws Springs at you that behave a bit randomly.

75m is more of an obstacle course. It gets players familiar with the platforming mechanics. You can't fall from too great a height or you die when you hit the ground, and touching the tops and bottoms of the elevator pulleys also kill you if you pass over them. There are even two paths to choose from: the top path or lower path. I usually go with the top path because it's faster. The Springs may be a bit of a mind bender to new players, but they can be figured out.

This level also introduces items to collect that give you more points. They are a Parasol and Purse. I assume what these are supposed to be are items that Pauline dropped while being carried by Donkey Kong and that you get bonus points for saving them, too.
