0I got bitten by a tick a few weeks ago, this is the result after about 10 days.
I first noticed it in the shower, at first it looked like a normal cut, with bruising. A little over a week later, the bruising disappeared, but then it went bright red and was very painful, with my ankle/foot swollen like a balloon, forcing me to limp when I walked.
I was on 3 weeks of antibiotics to help make sure it doesn't get infected, and to ensure I do not have Lyme disease.
Anyway, the swelling has gone down, but there's still a hint of redness and a little swelling around the ankle.
Lesson: Don't get bit by a tick! It's quite painful!
