Don't Settle For Less | Settlements Rising (Survival Settlement Builder - Demo)
Settlements Rising is a classic settlement builder game with an element of survival to it. We take a little plucky band of settlers and we try to build them a nice new home!
We choose a suitable place to build our new city centre, making sure it's close to useful resources like food, wood and stone, but, because this is a settlement survival game, mostly food!
Next we have to build some homes for our people to live in and then we get to work gathering lots of the aforementioned food; fisheries, hunters and gatherers go to work to make sure we don't go hungry!
Out by some mountains we build a little industrial zone with a mine, a smelter and a blacksmith, plus down in the settlement itself we get a little fashion area up and running where we make lots of clothes, jackets and shoes.
Also, as the settlement grows, we are given a choice of some randomly determined cards which can give us resources or boost one of our buildings for a short while, which is a nice touch.
NOTE: This is the demo of the game.

Settlements Rising is a medieval colony simulator set in the Middle Ages. Gather resources through foraging, hunting, and fishing to ensure the survival of your villagers. Produce equipments from these resources for the safety and well-being of your people. Import the necessary products and export the surplus. Construct ships for trade and exploration, amassing wealth from your discoveries. The game presents challenges like diseases, natural disasters, predators, and raiders. With over 40 professions for your villagers and more than 50 gatherable or craftable resources, the possibilities are vast.
At specific intervals, you will be presented with a set of random cards from which you can choose the one that best suits your needs. You can use these enhancement cards according to your requirements. These cards are for single use, but you can choose to save them for future games. In each new game, you can start with a few of the cards you've saved.
Villagers have their own life cycles. They can work in over 40 different professions. Each villager has needs for hunger, energy, health, and warmth. When they're hungry, they eat, and when their inventory runs out of food, they purchase more. When their energy depletes while working or during cold weather, they return home to rest. They are born, grow, receive education, and eventually age and pass away. They gain experience in their jobs. They acquire character traits either from birth or later in life.
In the game, you can earn gold by mining, trading, and conducting raids. Traders visit your village at regular intervals. They buy some resources and sell others. The prices vary from one trader to another, allowing you to buy low and sell high. Additionally, build trading ships and manage your resources by trading with neighboring villages based on the resources they import and export.
Construct exploration ships for exploration missions and send them out. Depending on the mission's risk, you can earn various rewards. These rewards can be gold, resources, or enhancement cards.
As the resources of your village increase, raiders will periodically attack, attempting to plunder your resources. To defend against raiders, build towers and walls. Train villagers as archers or swordsmen, hiring them as military units for a certain salary.
