Fabulous Floaty Furniture! | Stranded: Alien Dawn - Part 20 (Settlement Survival - Saltu Region)
0Stranded: Alien Dawn continues and our fancy 3D printer lets us print some carbon nanotubes, which means we can upgrade our furniture to fancy carbon nanotube furniture that, for whatever reason, floats! We can have floaty furniture! We get a floaty table and some floaty chairs but the plan is to have floaty everything!
The carbon nanotubes are made with fuel so we build a new mechanical press solely dedicated to making vegetable oil and a whole new workbench solely dedicated to making fuel from vegetable oil. That way we can have much in the way of fuel!
However the 3D printer is yet another device that uses power and we soon find that we're not producing enough of it. This leads us to build a day/night sensor that switches certain things off in the day, like the lights because we can see OK in the day, and also switches certain things off at night, like the advanced research bench because nobody is going to do research whilst they're asleep.
Also another puppy is born, we try to grow some wormy plants and a punishing heatwave settles in over the base...
