Don't Starve Guide: Wickerbottom and Woodie
147That last two characters that I'll be covering from the last update. In sum, I think Wickerbottom is more for fun, but won't have anything horrendously useful. Even that growth spell I tossed in there isn't that great for example. The inability to sleep and large penalty for spoiled food means that she isn't that friendly for newer players, as it can be hard to recover for Wickerbottom. Because of this, I don't think she's great for caves or adventure mode.
Woodie is honestly a much more standard character, and can be played pretty safely as anyone else would be. His lack of consistently beneficial boon means he's at a disadvantage compared to the others, but if you can get a lot done in beaver form, he can save a lot of time tearing down things you otherwise wouldn't be capable of managing. Just make sure you have plenty of recovery gear on hand.
