Re Upload and sorry about late upload, because the first one got stuck in youtube processing hell.
Edit: This is like my fifth attempt at uploading, hopefully it works! Or I may cry.
EDit 3429348: OKay So i'm leaving this one up for now but this one may be unsalvageable and I just don't know what to do. I've tried to edit it through adobe and this video you see here is the only "successful" attempt, if you can call it that even. Most times it fails, just fails. Just no. God dammit and I was all philosophical in the description, too. It's seriously so frusterating and also worrying that the rest may be messed up as well :/

Let's talk about memory.
I know I started talking about it during the episode and then I quickly veered off because of whatever reason, but memory and memories have been on my mind a fair bit lately.
Think back to the earliest memory you have. How old were you? What where you doing that caused you to remember it? Was it something totally inconsequential, or something that you would later realize to be quite profound?
I have a terrible short term memory- Jordan like to joke that I have the memory of a goldfish. It's pretty bad. But long term memory is relatively good, especially considering how bad I am at remembering now.
I don't know what the youngest memory I have is, because I have so many of them. I remember the car accident I go in when I was five, I remember the first time I rode my bike without training wheels when I was four, I remember the first christmas with my new foster parents when I was about three and we lived in the little green house.
But it's funny, I have the distinct memory of having been able to previously remember these memories clearly, with so much more clarity and depth, but now they are murky, like I'm viewing them from someones phone they used to record the original off of a screen.
I'm sure that you could argue that no one remembers that much when they are that young, I've been told as much before; that those memories were formed from stories told by other people, parents even, and then you form those memories based on other people's stories of it. But I do have counters to that, like when I was either five or six, I remember having gotten out of a blood clinic with my mom and them telling her that my blood type was O+ and that's about all there is to that memory. When I was about fourteen I asked my mom about it, having just recently discovered in school what the different blood types were and meant. She had no memory of the event whatsoever, saying she had never taken me to a clinic to get my blood tested as far as she remembered, and she had no idea what my blood type was. She even suggested that I made it up as we knew what her blood type was. Which may be true, it could have been some other caretaker that I just remembered as being a motherly figure of sorts. Anyways, that memory floated in the true/not true void for a couple years until I was seventeen and I donated blood, and was told my blood type was indeed O+.
Not the only example but the only one I have time to give for now. I could go on for a long time about all the things I remember, but maybe its better not too. Still, I wonder, what do you remember from your early years?
