Part1
1) 00:02 the marine on the ground shows u the first hidden area
2) 00:24 behind the health pack for invisibility
3) 02:12 right wall on the top of the elevator
4) 02:56 wall-tips an hidden area
5) 03:01 hurry back for a megaarmour, before the door closes!
Part2
6) 00:49 hidden door (also from automap if im right!)
7) 01:06 walk backwards in the teleports for supercharge
8) 03:48 time based. check from where i run to see the starting point
9) 03:56 the secret goes on :p
10) 04:23 the large area with the invulnerability is marked as secret
11) 05:25 once again time based, you've to run to reach the secret exit (lvl 31) in the poison
Exciting map, with barely a second to breath! no cyber or spiders here, but some tricky areas, where you can be surrounded and get shooted by more sides. The ammos are more than sufficient, in particular in the second part of the map there are plenty of rockets and cells for some fun. the perfect use of the "high weapons" (5,6,7) means a better ending time scored, even if in several part of the map it's rather dangerous to use rockets.
This map is the one with most secrets i've been playing for a while, and i was lucky I could view the previous DSDA record (19:39 by Mark Anders) to see the secrets revealed; there are a few time based doors, which I'd had never found by myself I guess (yea, I'm still failing at secrets in some case).
when I first watched the other run, I just tried to score something around 15minutes, but i realized i could improve still a lot, kept trying untill i decided to aim below 13''. Run isnt perfect, forgot to cliff monsters in some areas, risking a lot against the chaingunners, and could have played a bit different in some situations, but looks fine, and I just wanna finish the wad a bit faster, even tho im barely at half now :p
I just hope the next levels wont have similar secrets, or i may have troubles finding everything.
the hardest rooms in this part, are for sure the key areas, if you move in the wrong way, you are dead meat.
