A way different map from the first group of levels in the megawad, but very funny to play. Filled up with enough monsters and tricky areas, but also with enough invulnerability to make speedrunning not super stressing. There are many archviles, and some can really let u waste LOTS of time. the 3 in the blue key room in particular, are pretty nasty. It's easy there to be trapped and perish from the revenants, or imps or end ammonition if the archies revives everything before you notice. The supercharge secret jump, is quite complicated for me, as I need a bit more space to sr decently due to my key settings, but this time I successed first time luckily. The design resemble a lot the map28 of the original doom level (one of my favourite actually), and the map's music is the very same.
At 05:10 its simply as it looks like: a weapon switch s_s stupid of me, but at least I didnt screw the run.. lol
i wasn't very fast in the first bluekey room, but it can go much worse, trust me, that was the biggest obstacle for me here; I wasn't lucky with the masterminds, often owned alone by the plasma spiders, but it was fine. Also the cyberdemon can kill plenty of the knights on his own, but I saved fairly well lots of cell using (imho) smartly the rockets with last invulnerability.
Time isn't maxed, but the previous DSDA record - 09:13 by EvoCalvin- was already pretty nice and I was satisfied. Below 9min would be a kicky time.
I anyway decided to take my time with cchest3, since the next current records holding are absolutely challenging, and I just need lots of time to try getting in par or better. I actually was understimating the records made here I think! Some are basically perfect or unbeatable! You'll see!
