This map is shit, those points....you have to jump, it will be easier. I highly recommend you to play this map using zdoom, gzdoom, zandronum as they all have jump control. This is the hardest map of Helldoom. This map has some terrible moments, like I failed to cross those pillars many time and I had to save my game and load them again. Yet, I tried my best :)
