BOOM! It's DOOM (2016)! And now it's legitimately recorded AND rendered in 60 FPS! OBS Studio did not work like I had intended when I tried previous attempts at this. This sets a new standard for my channel and this can enable me to record console gameplay at 60 FPS also, without actually upgrading to a new Hauppauge.

Shadowplay uses nVidia's own tech to record at a silky-smooth 60 fps without a loss of CPU performance due to the typically high-stress task. The Hauppauge records 720p at 60 fps and 1080p at 30 fps, but it also WATCHES in 60 fps but only IF I'm not also using the Hauppauge to record. In theory: I should be able to maximize the Hauppauge video preview on my main monitor I record with, and record my desktop using ShadowPlay to record the 60fps preview without actually using the Hauppauge's record function. So, that said, ShadowPlay should allow me to record my PC and my consoles at 60 fps (assuming said console game even runs at 60 fps). Huzzah!
