On following the final steps of the Echo Recording (more like an apparition or a ghost), you reach an elevator after fighting off the Gore Nest and you will be lead to the weapon mod drone: https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=979
CAUTION (check below)*: After I get the weapon mod from the drone at https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1045, I roam around for some time trying to find the secret near the drone.
(Secret 3) Elite Guard 1: Access the underground hatch, you need to go and unlock the security lockdown: https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1152 and I roam around again and come back to the hatch at https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1189. Now, you are also done with your challenge 'Quite the Explorer'
(Secret 4) Plasma Rifle: After you come out of the underground hatch at https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1259, in the same direction as the exit, there is a ledge where you will find the rifle
After I find the rifle, from https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1309, I run around again trying to search for the Elite Guard until https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1541
(Secret 5) Room: https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1541
(Secret 6) Another room with Elite Guard, shield and health: same as above -- https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1541
(Not a secret) Heavy Assault Rifle: https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1649 after entering the gate, move into the door on the left for this rifle. I realized that I made a mistake when I picked this up. I should have taken the weapon mod after I had picked up the Assault Rifle as it's mods are amazing. Can't help it now.
Berserk mode: There is a floating flame behind the stunned Imp -- https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1744. Once you pass over this, you will be in an ultra power state where you can kill all enemies with your bare hands by tearing them part.
(Secret 7) Doomguy 2: There is a doomguy hiding in a corner on the roof -- https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=1962
Elite Guard 2: Once you battle the demons at this place, you need to take a left and navigate through the door -- https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=2311
(Secret 8) Doomguy 3: Once you reach the last scene of level 2, there is a semi-circular structure. On going to the left, you need to jump on some boxes and reach the attic where you will find the last doomguy -- https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=2426
Challenges:
Variety is the Spice of Death I: Perform 5 different Glory kills on the Possessed
Starting from https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=40. I shoot the Possessed with the Pistol until they start shining blue/orange highlight, then aim for specific body parts, like the head, right hand, left hand, right leg, left leg, head from behind, etc. Take your time as they are anyway staggering.
Two-fer: Kill 2 of the Possessed with one trigger pull from the shotgun
Starting from https://youtu.be/HmDHknRpm1U?t=283. The Explosive Shot mod for Shotgun will make this a piece of cake. Fire a pistol at a Possessed and wait till another shows up beside it.
Quite the Explorer: Find 3 secrets
I am not going to talk about this as you can just follow the above links to finding the secrets.
* You need not pick up the weapon mod right now as you will find 2 more weapons in this level, Plasma Rifle and Assault Rifle. I advise unlocking any of mod of the Assault Rifle as it is very helpful later on in the game.
In the beginning, as our super intelligent AI, Vega, provides information regarding challenges, I am firing at the heads of dead workers of the UAC company. Double tap!! They were already dead and I tapped them again 😂.
