Almost two years ago id Software released Doom 3: BFG Edition for the PC (Microsoft Windows), Playstation 3, and Xbox 360. It's mostly a re-release of Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3, and the expansion pack Resurrection of Evil with the new campaign The Lost Mission. Unfortunately for PC players, the mods for Doom 3 were near to impossible to work on the BFG edition due to the fact that it's running on the id Tech 4 (Like the 2004 release of Doom 3) with elements from id Tech 5. Luckily with the Doom 3 community and BFG Edition's source code, it's quite possible now although not every mod is compatible.
