Welcome everybody! To Let's Play DOOM 4 Mission 9 – Lazarusin Lazarus Labs on Nightmare difficulty, part 9. Time to visiting the private offices of Olivia Pierce as a devoted servant of hell and probably one of the main antagonists of DOOM she may have some useful information in the private quarters about how to close the hell gate, or disturb the “Well” Mythical source of unlimited energy in Hell of DOOM. But to get to that place first we need to find out where to look for this place and the only information provided are located in the Lazerus Labs in mission Lazerus. The Helix stone is the item we seek and Olivia have it heavily guarded, since the start of DOOM the entire Mars base is overrun by demons we can only suspect how heavy the stone itself will be guarded! But first we need to get to it. Right way I would like to point one mission 9 of DOOM on nightmare took way longer than I have planed and I had to split this mission in to two parts! In part one of Lazerus we need to fight our way in to the archives first! The Lazerus Labs in mission 9 are full of demon cages and each room where we may find a gore nest to destroy is full of cages! From those cages demons will appear starting from weak imps ending on Hell knights and more devastating demons of hell in DOOM. As Always if You plan to hunt down all the secrets from DOOM its wise to stick to every single wall and hole around, check every crate as You never know if there is a secrets there in DOOM that You may use with a new great weapon or armor or health. The Lazerus is also the mission where we will find out a new type of granate in DOOM – the Siphon Grande – this tool can suck the argent energy from demons around it explosion and suck it all in to the DOOM Marine for bonus healing! Always useful to have more healing on Nightmare difficulty! Going around every corner You should find a little short cuts in the Lazerus Labs but also a way in to a stuck elevator Inside it there should be an elite guard armor along with some more information regarding the DOOM story. Another thing important for mission 9 in DOOM is that we can now destroy the ventilation vents. So try to stick to them and check every single one of time as there may be a secret behind them You may didn’t notice. As we progress in mission 9 at some point we will find a rune Trail. One of the most useless ones come in mission 9 Lazerus, Rich get Richer. This one will grand you no ammo cost for the basic weapons in DOOM problem is, if somebody plays on nightmare holding 100 armor may be actually a problem! So in the end I think I won’t use that rune! For the rune itself can be found around first 1/3 of the mission 9 in Lazarus Labs. Remember also since mission 8 in DOOM You have the possibility to use the BFG Gun, if the demons will swarm you to the point where you can’t reload fast enough use the cannon. Its ammo is very rare but I belive its ok to use it around twice per mission in DOOM just to speed up the passing of levels, and Lazerus will have a few points where you may get overrun quite fast. The first DOOM Model can be found behind a rock tablet in one of the rooms almost at the end of this part of mission 9 – Lazerus.
