Welcome everybody! To Let's The Hive! Mission 8 – Charon Deadlands in mission Derelict Ship. Here we face once again the lizard man from the very beginning of the Hive. But only as beginning part of mission 8 as the situation changes very fast! If You ever played Homeworld back in the day You should know there was a stand alone expansion pack to the first homeworld game telling a story of a space beast that could take control over Your ships. In mission 8 the Derelict Ship we may have found out what was the end of the humans who venture from Earth in to the world of The Hive. They apparently crash landed here, but then again the ship may belong to somebody else. The facts are the ship had something we should not have awaken! As I took control of the expedition group that was send near the derbs of the ship in mission 8. The derbs are located near the middle of the mission 8 of Charon Deadlands. The Workers that are now under the control of the Beast will quickly make a large hive at the other side of the map. We need to send our army there as fast as possible and deal with this new threat while we still can control it, otherwise it may be the end of all life on this planet! The Beast Hive possess a large amount of hit points! The Wasp unit who is technically a attack unit not a tanking unit in the The Hive. On our side the Wasp possesses around 200 hit points tho it can be increased with the right items the WASP on the Beast Hive Side haves around 1000 hit points! Just like the rest of the units of the Beast Hive! All of them are way stronger then our standard units and going in on rampart even on lower difficulty levels may be our end! So gather a large army frist before You will try to look for the Beast Hive. The infected warriors of The Hive will have to deal first with the Ara’Lok soldiers who protect the Dynasty Kings in Charon Deadlands tombs. But sooner or later they will attack our Hive! So we need to make preparations. Thankfully the infected Hive can attack us only from one side and there large base is basically a one way in and spreads on a large area but with with almost no terrain obstacles so its very easy to destroy all of the infected buildings! You may want to focus on the most threading units of the Beast Hive first. The infected wasp may deliver a lot of damage to Your units even if You posses the Rhino and a medic in Your army! Try to focus fire on a single infected one before You move deeper in to the enemy hive. The missions ends when You will destroy two queens located in the infected Hive. First of the Queens can be found in the middle part of the enemy infected Hive while the other one at it very end with a large backup of units that will do everything to protect it! As You fight Your way in remember Wasps will be a common enemy same as legionaries and hunters. You may encounter a few medics on your way in but no towers or rhinos or an avatar. I advice to give the avatar some basic tanking items along with a good amount of damage items to cut Your way in to the infected hive!
