► Soo Neo, what happens today ? Well I'm glad You ask!! ツ
Welcome back everybody! To Let's play Cossacks 3 - gameplay – part 3! In the previous episode of Cossacks 3 we have manage to capture cannons in from of howitzers and bom-bards! With them we can break the walls of the walls of the Turks fortress. One of the fortress is supporting the tusk with resources for there troop recruiting mostly Tatars. While the other is just focused on recruiting them – while having the most defenders on the entire mission of Disrupting Enemy Schemes. The first mission of Becoming a Generalissimo of Cossacks 3 is more of a introduction what to expect from it! On impossible difficulty it just shows the mass of units that will be used in Cossacks 3. First of we need to take care of the defence fortress that is guarding the river crossing from our main army! The bombards are key here as they will out range the towers protecting the fortress! If the defenders consider trying to counter attack us make an use of the howitzers with good aim You can deal a great amount of damage to the Turkish troops in mission 1 but in the entire game of Cossacks 3 aswell! You don’t need a great army to conquer this fortress just a handful of man and cannons, the volunteers that joined You near the quarter fortress along with a good group of Reiters. Make sure to destroy the towers near the gates and the gate itself after that is tone the trucks won’t have any other option but to bring the fight to You! Lure them out and use the howitzers and cavalry to get rid of the fortress crew! With out them You will gain a foundry where you can make Your own cannons and artillery! Now with this we can make more howitzers that will come in handy to deal with the mass troops of the Turkish army in mission 1. After this first fortress is secured send in the army from the garrison where You have started mission 1 Disrupting En-emy Schemes! Leave a few man at the bridge, if there were any towers left in the first fortress the allied AI will take control of it and use to fuel the towers with coal and iron to keep it firing! In the mean time if You feel like it You can build additional towers in that fortress. The Turks have to pass the bridge next to it if they wish to attack Your general that You need to protected in mission 1! A good squad of Reiters with a few musketeers in the back should be more then enough to keep the Turks at bay with there tatar riders! Now its time to take care of the supporting fortress of the Ottoman army! The fortress is way weaker even on impossible, then thefirst one, and it does not have the amount of troops from the last fortress. But still time Your attack, deal with the towers first. Then send in the howitzers to make sure to deal with few of the troops at range! When the area is mostly clear send in the troops to conquer another fortress. With the mines from the second fortress of the ottoman empire Mission 1 of Becoming a Generalissimo will get even easier! Now we have a good supply of resources, our main garrison is protected by the river towers time to make the final strike at the ottoman army! Attack from one of the sides while most of the army will wait at the front gate! If You feel You need more cannons and don’t want to waste the resources for them go around the fortress to find a few cannons! Lure the enemy out, deal with them in open field and conquer the last Fort!
