DOOM 64 EX SENTINELS SUPER SECRET.
5This was my attempt to make a 'super' secret like the ones in the TC version of Doom64
Rewards being... getting to kill that annoying Pain Elemental at the start of the map... plus a Demon Key.
The secret can only be unlocked by picking up the Unmaker to reveal the red key switch... and killing the four lost souls at the corner of the arena. Its not immediately obvious that they are lost souls and can only be shot with mouse aim. Doing this will uncover nose hole on the skull carving so it can be shot to reveal the red key.
The effect of getting the Pain Elemental to raise out of the bloodpit is done by putting him a small but deep hole.
He does not raise up because he is alerted. Its because the hole is too small for his body and he wants to be at the same elevation as the player.
So as the player climbs the stairs and turns the corner they witness him raising from the bloodpit.
