Description: FINALLY! The sub-2:30:00 dream has, at long last, become a reality. Over the course of around 3 months I brought the time down from 2:44:05 to 2:29:39. There were some absolutely legendary moments in this, including the first time ever that the e2m6 rocket glide was included in a full game run. Only other new trick included is the pl19 guideless glide, which I only included because my last run died to the cyberdemon on that level.
Episode 1: Can't complain with this. Any sub-5:00 is acceptable, but sub-4:55 is beautiful.
Episode 2: Here it is. Had a better rocket glide in a previous run, but it died later on. Very happy with this.
Episode 3: Pretty good performance. Very good e3m4 which made up for me missing fast lift on e3m3. Also got e1-e3 record by two seconds in this run.
Episode 4: Could have been better; e4m2 was awful and e4m6 was lacking, but everything else was pretty par for the course.
Episode 5: Disgusting only because of e5m7 and e5m8. Everything else was fabulous though, but those two missions were just vomitous.
Doom 2: Got a new PB for Doom 2 somehow. Didn't think this was a super good run and didn't even get a great lv17 zero press. It must have been my lv15 and lv16, coupled with a somewhat good lv24.
Master Levels: Beautiful master levels. Got like 7 golds in this section, and a sub-25:00 is always a good thing.
No Rest for the Living: Sub-8:00 is good. Things got hairy near the beginning, but I pulled through.
Plutonia: Not entirely pleased with this plutonia run, but did successfully pull off all the glides I needed to. None of them were extremely fast though, and there's definitely 2 or more minutes of timesave on this spot alone.
TNT: Incredible world record TNT run. The adrenaline started pumping by ev29, but a fast ev10 zero press made for a quite beautiful TNT. Could've been sub-38:00 if I had just performed better early game.
