"BRAWLER MODE"
General Rules: All difficulties allowed, No extra lives, No glitches *, No abuse of Saving Throw resets, All Slayer Gates Required
Sentinel Crystals: One health upgrade only, No armor, No ammo
Rune Bans: Equipment Fiend, Chrono Strike
Suit Token Bans: Explosive Piñatas (ammo from barrels), Frag Stock Up (double equipment grenade)
Equipment Bans: Ice Bomb **
Weapon Bans: BFG, Unmaykr, Crucible, Ballista **
Mod Bans: Sticky Bombs, Precision Bolt, Heat Blast AND Microwave Beam, Lock On rockets, Energy Shield
Mod Upgrade Bans: Primary Charger (damage boost for Micro Missiles), Fast Hands (reload for super shotgun)
* Glitches don't include things like the animation skips over batteries or equipment items by switching weapons. Glitches are more like slope boosting and stuff like that. Accidental glitches are understandable. I know we can't ask Eternal to never glitch on us. Lol.
** For banned weapons and equipment, you must undo your key bindings so you can't switch equipment types, or pull out any of the banned weapons. I don't know if you can do this on console, but if you can then it's necessary. Use of these banned items, even if accidental, negates a run. And you will also need to make sure to immediately switch away from the BFG and Crucible when you pick them up. (If consoles players can not unbind a weapon, then you'll just have to go on the honor system and do everything you can to never accidentally use a weapon. This is a strict no-tolerance policy on PC. If consoles can't deactivate things, there is more leniency.

"BRAWLER +"
All regular Brawler rules apply, only now you must unbind (not use) the Super Shotgun. This includes the meat hook. It's a much harder version of an already brutal rule set. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR THE FIRST RUN. I played Brawler twice to completion before messing with Brawler +. Do it once you've finished the regular mode.

ULTRANIGHTMARE BRAWLER and BRAWLER +
Allows for all health and armor crystals, and double frag grenade (unlocked AFTER completing Arc Complex)
Do not attempt Brawler or Brawler + on Ultra Nightmare first. You may think you have it under control, but halfway through the game you're in for a rude awakening. Have fun with the mode first before attempting UN. Just a word of advice.
If you want to modify this rules set by adding in the ballista or health upgrades or whatever, of course you're free to do so. But adding anything back in will disqualify it from being a Brawler Run.
These modes can change the game for you... Be careful. It can be hard to go back after this... Have fun and get ready to raise your heart rate!
