DOOM Eternal - First Playthrough #1
0I swear to god I recorded my mic... Apparently Nvidia's recording software likes to turn random shit off without any notification such as microphone enabling or disabling. So I just spent an hour talking to myself, good times.
My original plan was to stream this. However, I don't know if it's the game's fault or the streaming service, by the game crashes immediately upon attempting to stream it. Funny thing is though, I tried streaming in private just to see how well it worked for like 15 minutes and it did just fine. Then, after I went to work and came back, Nvidia tells me there's a required update in order to play. So I update as told and suddenly it crashes no matter how I try to stream or what software I use for it. After 3 hours of trying to get it to work, I'm convinced the crashes are on purpose in order to stop people from streaming. So, instead of that, we're gonna do the game, one level at a time with prerecordings. This is #1 and it kinda looks goofy in spots because I'm trying to explain something but my mic has apparently offended Nvidia or some shit and disabled itself without even telling me. I apparently love talking to myself.
That explains why there is weird awkward moments throughout this video where I seem to be staring at crap for no reason. In the beginning for instance, I was trying to show that a change from 2016 was the fact that punching does no damage at all. In Doom 2016, I usually punched zombies to death to save ammo, but for whatever reason, they made the Doomslayer's punches more like the soft brush from a pillow as it lightly falls off the bed and onto a roach which then feels safe and loved.
This level took about 50 minutes to complete making to far longer to complete than any other first level I've ever played. I am enjoying it so far very much and can't wait to make a ton more. My plan is to playthrough first on I'm Too Young To Die and then my second playthrough is going to be on Nightmare. Then after that I will be completing everything the game has to offer in order to eventually 100% it. Hopefully, it's quite entertaining. Not to doot my own horn, but this is one of the few game types I'm actually good at. I have always loved fast paced unrealistic shooters. I have always hated games like COD though and will likely never play a game like that on this channel ever.
