I published this as a community layout under the charming name "Turnpad / Quick-Fire & Quick-Mod / Gyro on Swap/ Quick-Frag". Here is a summary of the settings with some notes:

Gyro set to "Gyro To Mouse"
Gyro Enable: Right Stick or Pad, Deflect or Touch
Gyro Angles to Mouse Pixels: 5454px
Gyro Sensitivity: 2.5x (default, lower than most other people prefer)
Gyro Speed Deadzone: 0
Gyro Precision Speed: 0.5

"Gyro Always On" Action Layer (enables gyro for quick-switching where thumb has to be off the pad)
Gyro Enable: Always On

Right Trackpad As Mouse
Sensitivity: 800 (start lower if too sensitive)
Vertical Sensitivity Scale: 50 (start lower if too hard to turn horizontally)
Rotation: 20 (highly personal, yours will likely be different)
Smoothing: 30
Trackball Mode: OFF
Right Pad Touch: Remove “Gyro Always On” Action Set Layer
Right Pad Bottom Edge Click selects Crucible (see this video for how this is achieved: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGHpetQb1BM)
Right Pad Click anywhere else: Glory Kill/Blood Punch/Melee/Use

Left Stick set to Joystick
Deadzone: Custom, 0 to 100
Click = Custom macro to swap to frag, throw frag, swap back to ice bomb

Right Joystick: Directional Pad
Pad Layout: 4 Way (No Overlap)
Deadzone: 25000
Up: Chaingun
Left: Plasma
Right: BFG
Down: Swap Gun Mod
Outer Ring: Activate Mod (aka “Quick Mod”)
Click: Swap Equipment (Ice Bomb or Frag Grenade)

I prefer Left Trigger Fire, which is opposite the standard convention of Right Trigger Fire
Left Trigger: Fire, Add “Gyro Always On” Action Set Layer
Right Trigger: Enable Mod, Add “Gyro Always On” Action Set Layer

Left Bumper: Use Equipment (Ice Bomb/Frag Grenade)
Right Bumper: Flame Belch

Back Buttons
L4: Jump
L5: Dash
R4: Glory Kill/Blood Punch/Melee/Use
R5: Select Super Shotgun. Holding enables Meathook

ABXY: Normal Press selects Ballista, Rocket Launcher, Heavy Cannon, or Shotgun
Normal Press also Adds “Gyro Always On” Action Set Layer
Holding it activates the selected gun's mod

D-Pad, Select/Start: Default
Also switches to a standard gamepad action set, which I use for map and UI navigation. Pressing any back button or touching the trackpad reverts it back to my game layout.
