Doom Eternal - Ps5 Gameplay
0Finally took a break from the spiderman 2 marathon I have been on to go old skool and back to one of my favourite shooter games, Doom Eternal.
For anyone that has not played this game (where have you been) to begin with Id say 3 times I’ve completed this game and still to this day the storyline is no exsistant. It’s all about the game play. The gun play, the melee weapons, the finishers to kill an enemy are all extreme.
Just a prewarning This game is very very violent, brutal, ferocious but at the same time an absolute joy to play.
First time playing it on PlayStation 5 though and I must say it looks as crisp as expected, great visuals, the cutscenes again look like a movie and I liked the added touch of when the enemy bosses talk their voice comes though the ps controller instead of the tv, a small detail but it works great.
Gun play is as great as always, again the vibration and trigger buttons on the ps controller make it feel more emersive than ever.
I truly think this is one of the best shooters I have played and think everyone should give it at least one full play through. Considering it’s on Ps+ too it’s completely free if you subscribe so there is no reason not too try it 🤷🏼♂️

For me if the story was a bit better it was be a 5* classic but the plot is literally not what this game is about it’s about the combat and fatalities and it delivers massively on both.
Another Great game made Even better playing it on Ps5
