In this Walkthrough I will guide you through the game efficiently while covering every side activity and making sure you don't miss a single thing.
Mission 4: The Dark Lord
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part Two is the second expansion to Doom Eternal, released in 2020, continuing the story told in Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part One. The expansion is fully standalone, and the creators of the series, id Software, are responsible for its creation.
The story of Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part Two is the culmination of Slayer's fate and tells of the end of his war with Hell. In order to do that, he has to fight with the Dark Lord himself, who controls all the demons, attacking his fortress with the help of an army of united guards. In addition, we will also come to visit the destroyed cities on Earth and the ancient ruins of the guardians.
The addition doesn't reinvent the wheel and focuses on providing more content in the formula known from previous installments. It's still a brutal and extremely dynamic FPP shooter, where using a large arsenal of weapons we get rid of more and more demons. DLC introduces new types of opponents, locations and provides us with the Hammer of the Guardian, used to crush opponents standing in the Slayer's way. There are also arcade and platform elements, during which we climb on hard to reach corners of the maps.
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part Two is a story expansion designed for single player play only.
Technical solutions remained unchanged from the basic version of the game or the first expansion. The graphic design continues to make a very good impression, while providing comfortable operation on hardware that meets the requirements.
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods, Part Two was developed on the same engine as the main game, i.e. id Tech 7. The game is characterized by detailed graphics and impressive execution, maintaining flawless optimization and the same hardware requirements. The DLC does not introduce any changes to the graphic design. Mick Gordon, known from the Doom (2016) and Doom Eternal soundtracks, is not responsible for new music.
