Doom Farm on the Road to Perfection | Day 184 in Stardew Valley
34It's Fall 16 of Year 2 and still at 99% perfection waiting for the final Queen of Sauce recipes. We've grown a giant pumpkin and caught every fish (barring legendary) at iridium quality thanks to fish buff food and a quality bobber. Pam has a lovely house and the shortcuts in the valley are open. We're even starting to make a large assortment of clothing, thanks to the furniture catalogue letting us get a dresser to store infinite clothes in.
At this point we're trying to see how much gold we can make and what additional challenges or exploration we can before this run comes to an end so these last few streams until Spring of Year 3 will be more relaxed.
The extra challenges I've got so far are:
1) Complete both community upgrades (a house for Pam and the shortcuts) - [DONE]
2) Buy the furniture and wallpaper catalogues and decorate our farm and house (and for the Ginger Island farmhouse)
3) Grow a giant cauliflower, melon, and pumpkin - [DONE]
4) Catch every fish (except legendary fish) at iridium quality (requires perfect catches or a quality bobber from Willy's bug meat special order) - [DONE]
5) Become a magic rock candy hoarder (trading each week to get one to hoard because they're too precious to use - the goal being 15+)
6) Outdo Haley as a clothes hoarder (collect every bit of clothing that doesn't require a heart event or rare item like the strange dolls)
My thanks to Hill Myna for suggestions 4-6. Four through six are more iffy and probably won't be accomplished but they'll be fun to try for.
