Thrown in at the end of the Dishonored VOD because I figured this would be kinda short. Boy was I wrong on that one.

Anyway, honestly probably my favorite out of these I've played so far. Fun levels and since it's 8 maps (plus 1 secret map) like a Doom 1 episode, it doesn't overstay its welcome.

Also, at the beginning I was under the assumption this was a Doom 1 episode, similar to Thy Flesh Consumed, due to the amount of levels. It is, in fact, not a Doom 1 episode, as mentioned above, but instead a Doom 2 episode.

As I mentioned, I actually kind of prefer this, because it doesn't suffer from being bloated with what felt like a bunch of throwaway levels (less of a problem with Plutonia, more of an issue I had with the OG Doom 2, and TNT).

My main problem mostly comes from the port, since I died and was forced to either pistol start that level I died on (Which probably would've been doable but been a royal pain in the rear), or go back multiple levels to the last quick save to keep my weapons.

Like I get they probably want to 'keep it classic' or whatever, but it is genuinely baffling to me that they would not have a function in the game to make it autosave at the start of a map to retain weapon progression, something which has been a part of multiple different ports as a QOL feature.

I can't imagine it would be that hard to implement it as a feature, then add a toggle for it in the options, for the people who want to play it the classic way without autosaves. Not having the choice at all is just infinitely worse.
