DOOM II: The Master Levels (UV Playthrough) [PC] - MAP01: Attack

Yes, here's the last of the 'official' mapsets, although this one's not quite as it was when I first got a hold of it. Originally, each map is contained in a separate WAD file (many of them assigned as MAP01), which isn't really much good as far as making a playthrough goes.
To 'fix' this inconvenience, I took the WADs, changed the map assignments to be consecutive, bunched them into one easy-to-manage PWAD, added a title/credit screen and a bunch of carefully-planned music tracks*, and it was ready for fooling around with.
Why do this though?
Because, despite each map being designed for Pistol-Starting, having to start each in a series of maps from scratch every time just becomes incredibly tedious (moreso when recording), not to mention the PSX version had them in a consecutive order (which I have copied here where applicable). It made no sense to piss around, starting every map with default equipment, when I could just mash it all in and save myself a load of hassle using that pea-shooter every 15 minutes.
Anyway, on to what this map's about.
With a name like "Attack", it's probably ecouraging some attacking, I guess. It's a good starter level, although shamefully it also spits out nearly every weapon the entire game offers, long before the map exit's even reached. Oh, and so as to slowly ease everyone away from The Plutonia Experiment's colour scheme without inducing withdrawal symptoms, it's also very fond of those brown textures.
*They weren't carefully planned at all; I just took a look at the overhead views and used the first MIDI it made me think of most of the time.
