A press-release beta version of DOOM, with 3 demo maps which was sent out to the press in advance of DOOM's imminent release. This video covers what would become E1M2: Nuclear Plant.

There are some interesting differences from the first release version (1.0). While it's playable, id Software were still making many modifications to the game at this point - most noticeably, there would be the removal of the treasure items, and HUD messages would no longer be displayed on the Status Bar.

And of course, there would later be the inclusion of sound effects and music.

At the time however, it was an interesting little glimpse into what DOOM was going to be like.
