What does this video serve as? Nothing much, I wouldn't class it as a speedrun or masterclass, or any of that shit. I've just been playing a lot of Quake II lately on both PC and PSX, and figured I'd upload a couple of gameplay videos.

This is the third map, Comm. Centre, recognised internally as BASE3. Why this map? Well before I got my hands on a copy of Quake II, the only way I could play it was via a PSX Demo, and this was the map used. It's since become my favourite, because it's although it's short, it's also well-designed and with enough action, ideal for a 5-minute run of just mindlessly shooting a bunch of Strogg from a Blaster-start.

That, and I know it inside-out.

(Correct, there is no music present! I don't need the CD to play Quake II - who does these days? - and couldn't be bothered to find the disc in my pile of games.)
