DOOM SnapMap BAD's Classic Stage 5
3Ok, I get to this one. Enjoy video, I begin.
"Design" - oh man! Oh it's looking good. Em, "thank you for inspiration for Rockhardgamer 45"? Em, why? Hm, let's take a look. o_O, it's looking like Rockhards map in PSX in classic Doom! Oh, man! Every where blood, dead guys on spears, torches on walls, face Icon of Sin. No-no-no! I want to leave this place! It's demons home in the past, I don't want!
But no where to go and forward we see only skulls, guts, dead guys and fire. Yeah, and demons, lot of. I love this design. Fresh air for classic map and how it detalised.
I don't know what to say alse. Better watchi video, or play this map.
Ok, about rates. My rate is 10/10. Absolutely deserved. I didn't see better maps then B.A.D.'s or Dario Butelli.
"Classic gameplay" - like always - lot ot demons, you can find secrets, classic "switches" - find switch wait for demons. You got only pistol, shotgun and chaingun. Want more - find it, search for secrets. In classic maps you can find alot of ammo/HP/armor, not in this map, like in 4th map - you need to find and use carrefully ammo and move carefully too. Demons feel his self like in home, yes, it's them home...
Ok, talk about rates. My rate is 9/10. Very good, but not every player can like it. For someone can be not enouth ammo/HP/armor. Not every can use weapon carrefull, so it's 9, but map deserve 9.5/10.
"Classic" - all what we see - classic. Spawn demons and fights - classic. Textures for BV's and probs - classic. Style to create places/arenas, opening doors/way out - classic. Classic hiding demons. What can say alse - all classic, only weapon and demons not classic.
Ok, about rates. My rate is 9.5/10. Yes, deserve 10, but if sad about "objective" - people will only remember "how it was", "how we play Doom 1 & 2". Heeeee ... nostalgia. So, I can't give 10, 9.5 only. However, this map deserve this.
Avarage rate - 9.5/10. It's very good. Like always BAD's create vety good map with amazing design and good gameplay. Ok, if you want classic map with good gameplay - play it, if you don't like it - play your Doom 1 & 2, it's DOOM 2016... Remember that!
