This is very different than earlier Doom games. This game feels tough but there is different tools than earlier to get armor and health. I believe it is how you get hang of using melee weapons and shield this time. I guess there is lot work for Ultra-Nightmare again. Dunno maybe more work than Eternal and 2016. Also Im playing this only with controller because I can't afford pc that runs this. Can't say if this is a bit harder than Eternal. Second playthrough will of course be faster. Dunno how it will be after practice. I feel this game is better for controller than previous doom games. It can be it is more meant to be for console players. Eternal is good for controller too but in this one you dont have to quick switch and shoot weak points. I like dark theme of this game. Music is good but I like more previous modern doom game music. This games music is more linear. I think earlier games had more interesting tracks. There is lot secrets and thats good. Eternals secrets was kind of bad mostly. And there is no more platforming. I maybe like Eternal more than this game but this is good game in its own way. Im gonna write later longer review of this game.
