After the showing of Doom which I am definitely hyped for, there are those out there saying that Doom is "too violent" or "very gory." Most noticeably Anita Sarkeesian said and quote on twitter,

"This level of extreme violence shouldn’t be considered normal. It's not an excuse to say it’s expected because DOOM. That’s the problem"

My answer, well I'm sorry to say its Doom, its what the series been known for.
