https://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom/addons/project-brutality Brutality lives..and it doesn't die, Ever since I played the "classic" Brutal Doom V20 I mainly enjoyed that mod for the sake of challenges and V21 Gold is my go to when I try new megawads, Of course there are also addons made for it every day with new weapons, maps, audio, one-liner/taunts or new effects but this mod which is a expansion to Brutal Doom based on V20 is it's own standalone mod to add in content that Brutal Doom doesn't have.
Project Brutality 2.03 is an custom version of 2.1 released in 2015, What does it do? Well the weapons have been updated and you have new weapons including several upgradable weapons and several types of grenades, Enemies are expanded on with various types of Imps, Barons, Chaingunners, Revenants, and other monsters, It contains some new power-ups such as the Baron and Revenant transformation runes, A Medical backpack (that works like Duke 3D's medkit) and QuadDamage Sphere.
The mod does more then this though, You also can configure monster spawns based on a tier system making the much more dangerous monster forms appear later or have a chaotic mix of new monsters and old monsters, The behavior of monsters can also be tweaked such as Zombies tossing grenades, Imps climbing on the ceilings and so, so much more new attacks that can catch you off guard.
I will tackle Project Brutality 3.0 later as it really strains my GZDoom settings and I'll have to set aside some of my HDD to get at least a 10 minute video, MANY MANY new changes are in that version, Even if Project Brutality 2.03 is a bit outdated, it still packs a punch...!
