Though I usually stream during Saturday mornings, so the time can match my Brazilian friends' better, felt like a bit of evening doom during the week and decided to start Eternal Doom.

This is a full megawad I'm curious about but was unsure when to fit in my regular schedule, so this works. Short stream, I played through the first couple levels. Defaulted to English as well because of the time. One or two randos showed up but they didn't stay, so it was mostly alone chill.

For now I'm thinking this is how I'll end up playing this WAD. Short occasional impromptu streams. We'll see how it goes

Eternal Doom is a bit of an odd one. It focuses heavily on secrets and exploration with the combat being generally quite toned down in comparison to many modern wads. Also, modern it is not; It was put together by Team Eternal which would later on "rebrand" to Team TNT, of Evilution fame. Tonally, Eternal is quite unique featuring a collection of textures, many plucked from Heretic and Hexen which give it a departure from Doom's industrial tech base + rocky and fleshy hellscape kind of scenarios. Also has a lot of alternative sound effects.
