DOOMSLAYER'S RAMPAGE - Weapons Showcase & Explanation
657DOOMSLAYER'S RAMPAGE (or simply Slayer's Rampage) All Weapons Showcase, together with a small explanation of their advantages and weaknesses. All of the weapons have been changed a little or a lot till I played the most for a first time several months ago. One weapon got removed at all - it was the Rocket/Grenade Launcher hybrid, it's role was replaced by Pump-Action Shotgun/Grenade Launcher and Heavy Assault Rifle. Most of the weapons in Doomslayer's Rampage have got an arcade feeling - they have a secondary fire mode, in some cases quite unusual. Pump-Action Shotgun with Grenade Launcher together with H.A.R Enforcer with Rocket Launcher are these extreme cases. Not only you can unload tons of lead in a quick succession, but you also can lob grenades or launch fast volleys of rockets at enemies. One of the most precise weapons to choose is ironically, a Minigun - first fire mode is quite slow and precise, there is no recoil to control at all. Secondary fire mode is even faster, so not only you have an extremely fast Chaingun at your disposal, it's also really accurate all the times. Thunderbird Energy Cannon is your Railgun in Slayer's Rampage - primary fire consumes only 5 cells and always hits whenever you aim, a really good weapon against tougher targets. Secondary fire is slower, consumes 20 cells but there also comes a much bigger damage and area of effects - everything nearby the projectile, is going to be injured or destroyed. The Plasma Rifle (that one gun resembling Plasma Rifle from DOOM:ETERNAL) is by far one of the best Plasma weapons you might find in any Doom mod - it simply looks and acts fantastic. There is no demon in the game that can withstand such punishment coming from this rifle - fast firing, heavy damage per cell, the only drawback is a possibility to overheat quickly when in fight.
