Doot Eternal: A Retrospective of Doom Modding's Most Significant Music (Part 2)
This is a continuation of the Doot Eternal retrospective series, which acknowledges some of the most important and influential music released in Doom modding history. These videos are meant to accompany the Doomworld article, "Doot Eternal (a.k.a. Meow That's What I Call Doom Music)".
For this second part, WAD soundtracks from the early and mid-2000s take the stage to demonstrate how Doom music was influenced by some more unexpected genres, leading to a deviation from the traditional rock and roll MIDI formula. The entries covered in this episode are brought to us by Scuba Steve, Dynamo, Mikolah, esselfortium, MtPain27, and Cardboard Marty.
