Doritos Crash Course 2 is the sequel to the XBLA hit Doritos Crash Course. Compete with your friends to win gold throughout four brand new obstacles of excitement and collect stars to buy new levels, items, and much for for your amusement. Players must get their Xbox 360 avatars through increasingly difficult obstacle courses. The game consists of four fields of Amazon, Antarctic, Egypt, and Pirate Island, each with their unique style to make your avatar wipe out anyway possible. Amazon takes place in the vast jungles of the Amazon and tends to be the easiest while with Pirate Island you better run for your life to get a great time. In the original Doritos Crash Course unlocking levels was just as simple as playing them, the case is not the same here. In Crash Course 2 you now collect "stars" in-game which are used to unlock levels, buy power-ups, and have avatar effects to change your avatar's appearance in-game. Coins are another type of token which you can buy for Microsoft points (10 for 80, 200 for 1600, etc) and are used for the same reasons as stars are which is to unlock levels, buy power-ups, and have avatar effects.
