First person shooters are some of my favourite games. Done right, they can have some of the best action around. I started playing them way back in the 90s with a little game called Doom released for DOS.

Since then I was hooked, and sought to play as many of first person games, or Doom Clones as they were known back then, as I could. So in this video we are going to see if any came close to blasting Doom off the top spot, or if they were instantly shot in the face with a shotgun.
